Nicety Studio is a design and hot foil studio with a focus on wedding invitations and personal stationery, working with clients internationally. We want to make all of your dreams come true by creating well thought-out and balanced designs for all your paper needs.
Nicety Studio began in 2016 when Anna Jaques designed her own wedding stationery suite which gained online exposure, closely followed by being contacted by the Art Director at Martha Stewart Weddings to create a custom wedding invitation suite for their next issue. Having a long history in luxury print design, Anna wanted to curate a career in something she was passionate about, in an industry that printed materials would always be viewed as an important asset.
Inspired by traditional and modern design, interiors, and graphic design for luxury fashion brands, our style focuses on the expression of classic and modern typography applied to luxury papers, using traditional printing methods like foil blocking.
FOUNDER AND DESIGNER
Nicety Studio is run under the creative direction of Anna Jaques, a graphic designer who started out in the luxury goods sector working for high-end clients such as Selfridges, Hotel Chocolat, and De Beers Diamonds. These years are what helped her gain a true understanding of luxury design and print methods, allowing her to hone and develop her style and skills.
Anna was born into a family of design, with both parents still practicing in graphic design, along with her grandfather and sister. She grew up in Oxfordshire, studied graphic design at Falmouth University, and has since lived in London and Los Angeles.
DESIGN AND PRODUCTION
What makes us unique and sets us apart from other design studios is that we do all our design and foiling in-house, ensuring that everything is produced to perfection. We have a large state-of-the-art hot foil press which we love to experiment with, and if there’s anything we can’t do in our studio, we have a team of trusted production partners that share our attention to detail and love of stationery.
The name Nicety means careful attention to details : delicate exactness, which is exactly how we intend to run our design and production studio. A keen eye for detail and perfectionism is key to creating luxury paper goods, and we set out to marry the eye of a designer with the skill of a boutique printing studio to ensure every client receives exactly what they envision when they work with us.
For us luxury should be accessible to everyone, and our goal is to produce stationery that you’ll want to hold on to forever.
WEDDING INVITATION DESIGN
Nicety Studio started out as a wedding stationery design studio serving couples across the globe. The first glimpse of your wedding your guests see is the invitation, and we want to make it a magical reflection of what your wedding will be. We do all our design and production in-house, and love to foil every piece of paper we get our hands on.
We are always developing and updating our wedding stationery suites so do check back to see what new pieces we have to offer, or feel free to email us for new product launches and updates!
CUSTOM STATIONERY FOR PERSONAL OR BUSINESS USE
Whether you’re looking to create personal stationery for yourself or as a gift, we want to help visualise your identity onto a piece of paper. Express yourself with textures, foils, and the design details that’ll make you look oh-so-extra-special. We only use the finest paper mills such as Colorplan Papers and Fedrigoni, alongside eco-friendly foils from Foilco.
If you’d like to discuss your personal or business stationery, pop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can begin discussing what your dreams look like on paper.
We love to collaborate with other amazing people and brands! If you share our love of luxurious papers, shiny foils, timeless design and mermaids, we’d love to hear from you!
We also love to create stationery for styled shoots, and offer free samples to a limited number of planners and other vendors each year. We’ve worked with some incredible teams such as Wild Heart Events and Carly Rae Design.
